In the Northern mountainous area of Vietnam, the care for the physical and mental health of mothers after giving birth has not been given proper attention. The awareness and practice of postpartum care, especially mental health, in the community are still limited. The project is funded by the Australian Alumni Foundation and aims to improve public awareness of postpartum women's healthcare; thereby improving the effectiveness of care delivered and encouraging community engagement for the health of mothers and their babies. The contents and activities of the project are being researched and developed in the northern mountainous region of Vietnam. .
